Meet Shalini!
Shalini is deeply passionate about counselling, and much of her work is grounded in Narrative Therapy, anti-oppressive practice, and the principles of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She strives to create a safe, collaborative, and empowering space where clients feel heard and supported.She enjoys working with individuals of all ages. She has extensive experience within the school board supporting youth with complex needs, as well as providing counselling to adults and families navigating a wide range of challenges.Outside of her professional work, she loves to sing, dance, spend time playing with her dogs, and unwind with a good Netflix rom-com. She considers herself personable and adaptable, and she truly enjoys meeting and connecting with new people.
