CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented approach that explores the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. By becoming more aware of these patterns and learning how to shift them, CBT helps individuals develop practical skills to manage challenges and build resilience.
At Evergreen Counselling Collective, CBT focuses on identifying unhelpful thought patterns, gently challenging and reframing limiting beliefs, and developing more balanced ways of thinking. Therapy is collaborative and present-focused, with an emphasis on building tools for everyday life such as coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and achievable goal-setting.
CBT can be helpful for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, OCD, sleep difficulties, anger, eating concerns, and relationship challenges. It is an active, skills-based approach that often includes between-session practice to support meaningful change over time.
